Hawzah News Agency- The report by The Jerusalem Post said the recovery extends beyond missile production to several sectors of Iran’s military industry, despite extensive damage inflicted on defense-industrial facilities during the roughly 40-day US-Israeli war.
‘'Israel’' had faced similar surprises after strikes in October 2024 and June 2025, when its assessments reportedly projected years-long delays in Iran’s ability to restore production. Tehran repeatedly found ways to resume manufacturing at a faster pace than anticipated, according to the report.
During the 2026 war, ‘Israel’ and the United States targeted more than 2,600 missile and military-industrial sites and carried out around 30,000 airstrikes. Both countries said at the time that Iran’s production capabilities had been severely degraded.
However, current assessments indicate that Iran has resumed producing new missiles at a pace exceeding Israeli expectations. Among the methods reportedly used was the rapid removal of debris from damaged underground facilities with bulldozers, allowing production to restart.
While post-war estimates placed Iran’s remaining long-range missile stockpile at between 500 and 1,000 missiles, the focus has increasingly shifted to Tehran’s reconstruction rate.
